Hit it and Quit It
JASON ALEXANDER EXPOSED!!
Jason Alexander exposed as a grown man who wears a purple fanny pack, what a damn shame.

I started this out of boredom after taking 30 mg of Adderall and not being able to sleep. I am aware the writing/grammar isn’t too great but whatever dog it’s my damn blog. “Hit it and Quit it” usually refers to having sex with someone then never contacting them again, in this case it refers to my sporadic habit of starting a new project and never completing it. I’m not sure if I’ll ever write anything else for this so called “blog” but here’s to trying new things out. New, lots of new things today. New therapist, new medication(Adderall), and new music.
I am only here to talk about the music, who cares about my therapy. Anyway, Ty Segall aka the grand daddy of LA’s underground rock music scene released Fudge Sandwich. An album consisting of 11 fantastic covers ranging from Rudimentary Peni to Neil Young, clocking in at 38 minutes, Ty brings the power of his signature fuzz and melodic voice to make a tasty “fudge sandwich” hehe.

I myself had to try a fudge sandwich and it was exactly what you would expect, a sweet mouthful of a simple yet jubilant treat. And I think this album is exactly that, a simple concept that encompasses the best of Ty Segall. Fudge Sandwich sees Ty picking up songs that are very much unlike his style of music but it’s cool to see how he as interpreted the songs to make them his own.
